Closing date for Tramore Hunters Chase

Entries for the Tramore Hunters chase which takes place on Monday 22nd April, close on Wednesday 17th April.

Declarations to run must be made by 10am Saturday 20th April.

F 7:10 PM The Gaultier Hunters Steeplechase of €10,000

Winner will receive €6,000 (Penalty Value: €5,900), Second will receive €2,000, Third will receive €1,000, Fourth will receive €500, Fifth will receive €300, Sixth will receive €200

A steeplechase for † Certified Hunters five years old and upwards that have not won more than one Steeplechase confined to Certified Hunters and that have been placed first, second, third or fourth in a Certified Hunters Steeplechase in Ireland or in a Point-to-Point Steeplechase in Ireland between 19th September, 2020 and 16th April, 2024.

€90 to enter, €10 extra if declared to run
Weights: .............................................. 11st 7lbs
Mares allowed ............................................ 7lbs
Penalty - (to count from 1st January, 2023)
Winner of a steeplechase..................... 7lb extra
Exclusions - Horses that have won a race under any N.H. Rules or Rules of Racing other than (a) Farmers Races or (b) Certified Hunters Steeplechases.

Riders: Qualified Riders under I.N.H.S. Rules.

† A Hunters Certificate valid in accordance with Rule 78 for the 2023/2024 season for each horse engaged must be registered at the Office of the I.N.H.S. Committee, The Curragh, Co. Kildare, not later than 16th April, 2024 or the horse is not qualified to start.
