There is rain forecasted for tomorrow, but Saturday is to be fine. There will be the usual food and beverage outlets.’

We caught up with Geoffrey Frawley ahead of this weekend's spectacle:

"Preparations are going well. We are expecting a big crowd, we will have a champagne bar onsite this year and we have a pony club race taking place after the racing has finished which has an entry of 12 ponies.

"The weather forecast is good and we also will have a live stream again this year which will help to showcase point-to-pointing as a great family day out.

"The track is ready to go and is in the same layout as last year, with a good cover of grass."
