Mirroring the situation under rules, where this weekend's cards at Fairyhouse and Naas have fallen foul to the currernt cold snap, there will be no action in the point-to-point fields this weekend.

Parts of the track had been found to be frozen at Friday’s 48-hour course inspection which necessitated Saturday afternoon’s additional inspection at the course.
With Met Eireann showing temperatures having dropped to as low as -8 degrees early on Saturday morning, and little prospect of it rising above zero degrees, that has not allowed the track condition to improve ahead of Sunday’s scheduled fixture.
Sunday's other point-to-point has been abandoned with the IHRB confirming that the fixture at Aghabullogue will not take place this weekend owing to operational reasons. There are no plans for this fixture to be rescheduled.
They follow on from the abandonment of Saturday’s rescheduled fixture at Ballindenisk due to a frozen track.
Encouragingly, temperatures are due to improve and return to the seasonal average from Monday.
