PREVIEW | Killeagh (H) at Carrigarostig - Sunday

Carrigarostig plays host to it’s second point-to-point with 112 entries across the six races.

Race 1 – Hurleys SuperValu 5YO Mares Maiden

After posting two decent efforts at the end of last year, I AM GONNA BE could be the one to side with as she bids to get her head in front. Potters Princess is the obvious alternative having looked to bump into a smart mare when second at Ballindenisk on her debut earlier this month, a position that Cluain Aodha also filled on her debut.

Of the others, Dame De Fortune was sent off as the favourite when making her first appearance at Borris House and any market support again here would be interesting.

Race 2 – Tattersalls NH 5YO Geldings Maiden

OLD STYLE HUMOUR was still very much involved when coming down with three fences to jump in a strongly-run maiden at Boulta on his debut back in November and he may be the one to side with here in what is an open-looking race.

El Rojo Grande has built up a good bit of experience of late and that will stand to him here, whilst Frankie Boy, Fulgurant and Jet Marshall are others with place prospects.

Race 3 – ITBA Mares Winner of Two

OSCAR TONIC goes in search of her third winner of the campaign and she would certainly look a leading contender for this having beaten a capable geldings in a match race at Ballindenisk recently. Camillas Choice is one of the eye-catching maiden winners in this. S

he beat a proven and more experienced type when making the perfect start to her career at Borris House, whilst Wildfield Ivy looked to have a lot in hand when opening her account at Lingstown.

Of the others, Midway To Getaway drops down from Hunter Chase company and certainly acquitted herself well in that sphere of late.

Race 4 – Drury Tea & Coffee & GAIN Equine Nutrition 6YO+ Mares Maiden (Nov Riders)

SOME WOMAN is well-related being out of a half-sister to the former Gold Cup winner Denman, and having gone close when second at Lingstown last month she looks to be the one to beat for this.

The Dreams Alive acquitted herself well in trying conditions at Boulta on her first outing for new connections and this track-placed mare would look a danger alongside both What An Ocean and Violet Lady.

Race 5 – Coolmara Stables open

ER DANCER and Mighty Stowaway filled the first two positions at Borris House before Christmas with the former winning by six lengths. Whilst Mighty Stowaway has since picked up his third win of the campaign, Er Dancer put up a big display when second in the Hunter Chase at Down Royal last month and should be able to confirm the Borris placings in this.

It Came To Pass recorded his first success since winning the Cheltenham Foxhunters when he got his head in front at Ballindenisk and he is clearly in good heart at present which brings him into the equation alongside the returning Aloneamongmillions.

Race 6 – Fogarty Brothers Auto Experts Ltd & Pegus 6YO+ Geldings Maiden

Track recruit EARL OF DESMOND has a hurdles mark of 102 having previously gone close in a maiden hurdle and he could well have his supporters for what is an open-looking race.

Gavroche Dallier has long been knocking on the door and is sure to be involved once again alongside Easca Mor who has an eye-catching second from a Hunter Chase last year to his name. Top Of The List, Lessankan and Murphys Double are others with definite prospects.
