Applications now open for Weatherbys ITBA Fillies Scheme

Owners have the opportunity to win an additional €15,000 (without deductions) on top of their prizemoney for their fillies/mares as part of the Weatherbys ITBA NH Fillies Bonus Scheme, with applications now open for 2023.
 
To date the scheme has paid out over €2.6 million to winning connections and last year was its most successful to date with over €490k in bonuses distributed.
 
Terms & Conditions:
For eligibility the filly should be:-
3YO+ at time of entry
Unraced (under Rules) at closing date 30th September, 2022
€200 to be paid to the ITBA before the closing date as above.
 
This is a once-off payment that makes your filly eligible for bonuses amounting to €15,000. Once entered, the bonuses will start on 1st January, 2023. 
 
Store Sales Purchased Fillies:
Fillies purchased at any Irish Store Sale will automatically be eligible once they are sold through the ring, the vendor pays €50 at entry and the purchaser pays the additional €150 directly to the sales company. 
Fillies bought outside the ring will need to have the additional €150 paid to the ITBA before the closing date to ensure her eligibility.
 
Eligible Races:
There are bonuses of € 5,000 attached to every mares only maiden race in Ireland: Bumpers, Maiden Hurdles and Beginners Chases. 
In 2018, the scheme was extended to include a number of Mares only H’Cap Hurdles for fillies that did not win their maiden.
The scheme also supports the Connolly’s RED MILLS EBF Auction Race Series, whereby if a filly wins this race she will receive an additional bonus.
 
The bonuses are paid into the HRI account at the beginning of every month to the owners listed in the race-card on the day the filly wins.
