New autumn point-to-point sale set to run at Goresbridge in November

On the back of a very strong point-to-point sale in April, Goresbridge Horse Sales have announced the launch of a similar fixture which will take place at Goresbridge on Thursday November 28th.

April’s inaugural edition received extremely positive feedback from both buyers and vendors alike, and now with the support and collaboration of Irish Thoroughbred Marketing as well as some of the handlers, this new date has been added to the calendar.

“We were hugely encouraged by the success of our first sale in April,” explained Ed Donohoe. “The aim is to have a number of entrants that will have run through October until the time of sale.

"This will be the only outlet in Ireland for them, and will cater for any horses that do not get into the marquee sales as well as those vendors who choose not to travel to the UK.”

Looking forward, Donohoe also announced that 2025 will see three similar renewals, the first of which will take place in April.
