Turlough O'Connor, who has combined race-riding and training in recent times, recorded his first winner in the saddle when teaming-up with the Eugene O'Sullivan-trained Loup Charter at Tattersalls Farm in May 2009. He has been the regular rider of the ultra-consistent open horse Drawn N Drank. His brother Fergus and sister-in-law Irene Walsh, have both also ridden winners in point-to-points.
