Having made his riding debut in a Roscommon Bumper in May, it was after a total of four rides in Bumpers for Paul Gilligan that Conor Rabbitt had his first in a point-to-point when aboard his mother Christine’s Sir Carno in an Open at Oldtown in February. The Galway native did not have to wait long for his first success, as that followed seven days later at Farmacaffley, when the 18-year-old combined with the Warren Ewing-trained Ranieri to get off the mark. Following the 2020/21 season, Conor joined the professional ranks having moved to Britain.
