The younger brother of Aintree Grand National winning jockey David Mullins, Charlie followed in those footsteps when he gained his first success aboard It Could Be You in a Fairyhouse bumper in October 2020, a horse trained by his father Tom. Having won three hunter chases, including the 2023 Joseph O'Reilly Memorial aboard Annamix for his uncle Willie Mullins, his first ride in a point-to-point was a winning one when Tracey Gilmour's Come To Me was victorious at Tattersalls in April 2023.
