Having made his debut in a Tattersalls Open in 2003, Gerry Mangan went on to ride in close to 1,500 point-to-point races, with his first winner in this sphere coming in November 2007 at Boulta aboard Go North. Less than seven-years later, Mangan reached a career milestone when he rode his 100th winner on the Jonathan Sweeny-trained Barnahash Rose at Dromahane in March 2014.
