Deadline approaching for Weatherbys ITBA NH Fillies Bonus Scheme

Applications remain open for the Weatherbys ITBA NH Fillies Bonus Scheme for 2026 but will close on 30th September 2025.

If you are a NH Breeder or Owner and wish to make your filly eligible for the scheme, the terms and conditions remain as follows:

-    3YO at time of entry
-    IRE Bred
Unraced at closing date 30th September 2025
-    €300 to be paid to the ITBA before the closing date as above.

This is a once-off payment that makes your filly eligible for bonuses amounting to €17,500. Once entered, the filly’s eligibility will start on 1st January 2026

Fillies purchased at any Irish Store Sale will automatically be entered once they are sold through the ring, the vendor pays €100 at entry, and the purchaser pays the additional €200 directly to the sales company.  Fillies bought outside the ring will need to have the additional €200 paid to the ITBA before the closing date to ensure her eligibility, if the sale was not conducted through the sales company.

There are bonuses attached to every mares only maiden race in Ireland: Bumpers, Maiden Hurdles and Beginners Chases.  The scheme also includes a number of Mares only H’Cap Hurdles for fillies that did not win their maiden and supports the Connolly’s REDMILLS Irish EBF Auction Race Series.

Now in its eleventh year, the scheme continues to grow from strength to strength and to date over  €4 million has been paid out to winning connections.

Application Forms are available to download at www.itba.ie
