Conor Fahy recorded his first winner at Bennettsbirdge point-to-point in 2008 aboard Ted Gunther. A son of trainer Pat Fahy, Conor would guide subsequent Grade 1 winner Morning Assembly to win a bumper at Punchestown in 2012, and following a spell in Australia, would team-up once again with that Shantou gelding, who was trained by his father Pat, to win a Kirkistown Open in February 2018 on his return.
