Mark Foley gained much of his early experience on horses as part of the CAFRE College in Enniskillen, with Hillbilly Babe in a winners’ contest at Largy in April 2012 his initial mount. This was followed by rides on the likes of Notnowlove, Ashdale Lad and Folduf, stalwarts of the college’s racing yard. Having worked for the likes of Stuart Crawford and Gordon Elliott, Foley returned from a near six-year absence in point-to-points, in February 2020, when partnering Diegos Way for Cian Collins.
