Wexford native Harley Dunne reverted to point-to-point's following a spell within the professional ranks, and in 2013, in what was his first season point-to-pointing, he was crowned Champion Novice Rider following a total of 13-winners. He has struck-up a successful link with a number of Wexford handlers which has seen him guide a number of expensive four-year-old winners to success, such as Redhotfillypeppers, Bitingthebullet, Know The Score and The Big Getaway. Sean Doyle's Crosshue Boy provided him with his biggest track success to date when winning a valuable Handicap Chase on the Scottish National card at Ayr in 2018. Despite setting up a successful training yard, with his first winners in that role coming in September 2020, he has remained one of the countries leading riders, with 15 winners in the 21/22 campaign matching his best ever single-season total.
