Aine Dagg hails from a family with deep roots within point-to-pointing. Her father John is the Clerk of the Course for the Shillelagh fixtures at Tinahely, and her mother Mary is also the fixture secretary for the Shillelagh's races at the same course. Dagg, whose sister Maria also previously rode in point-to-points, recoreded her first success aboard Little Dream during the inaugural Anglo-Irish Challenge event which was held at Tattersalls Farm in May 2013.
