Sheila Ahern has been a well-established rider on the point-to-point circuit for a number of years, having partnered her first winner aboard Isourbell at Templemore in April 2014. She would strike up a very successful relationship with the Executive Perk mare, as the pair combined to win a further three races together. A career best season in 2015/2016 saw her ride six winners to claim a share of the ladies title alongside Liz Lalor and Aileen O'Sullivan, whilst she has also represented Ireland in the Anglo-Irish Challenge against point-to-point riders from Great Britain.
