Having had his first ride aboard Fadas Jewel at Dungarvan in January 2012, Darragh Allen rode his first winner, Lenamore Boy, for Denis O' Herlihy, at Ballindenisk in November 2014. Since then, he has struck up a successful partnerships with a number of handlers, particularly on the southern circuit, where he rode a career-best nine winners during both the 2018/19 and 2019/20 campaigns. Among his most notable, Allen guided Ask For Glory to victory in a four-year-old maiden at Bartlemy before that horse was sold for no less than £280,000.
