Peter Kavanagh made his point-to-point debut at the age of 19 aboard Mad Jack Mytton at Knockmullen House in November 2019, and that same Cormac Doyle-trained horse would go on to provide him with his first success when winning a novice riders open at Turtulla two weeks later. A graduate of RACE, the Wexford native rode as an apprentice on the flat, having six rides for Willie McCreery, the last of which came in May 2019. A first four-year-old maiden success following quickly in his point career, when Colin Bowe’s Velvit Elvis won at Nenagh in February 2020.
