Laura Ward made her point-to-point debut in February 2022 aboard the Vincent Ward trained Golden Silence at Ballycrystal. It was for Vincent that Laura rode her first winner on the track in a NHF race at Fairyhouse in April 2021. The horse Mary's Pride who she rode to victory was named after her late mother who sadly passed away three years previously.
