From Limerick, Aine O’Connor made her point-to-point debut aboard Hordargo for Seamus Braddish at Dromahane in 2009, with her first success coming in another open on the Paurick O’Connor-trained Supercede at Templemore in April 2012. It is on the track that her greatest achievements have come, winning the Class 2 Clarke Chase at Uttoxeter for her brother-in-law Harry Fry, and the 2017 Ladies National aboard Coldstonesober. Enda Bolger and JP McManus have been big supporters of O’Connor, ensuring she has enjoyed success on star horses such as On The Fringe and Edwulf, whilst she is also Equuip Co-ordinator within Horse Racing Ireland.
